it was the far off future, with cyborgs, flying cars and cyborgs, a very cyberpunk setting. there were floating cities above the ground, my boyfriend and i lived in the largest floating city. my boyfriend was a genius experimentalist who created an elixir that could allow anyone to enter the metaphysical realm or “the void” and allow the person who drank it to move freely through the void. i had gotten in a life threatening accident, and lost my human legs, but my boyfriend gave me cyborg legs and upgraded my physical body into a living weapon. my boyfriend never tried his creation, i was the one who tested the elixir and the abilities it had. once it was perfected my boyfriend wanted to share it with the masses, very quickly my boyfriend became the most prolific kingpin in the floating city, and i was his well known “guard dog” his lover and personal assassin. we were able to make quick work of any competition and soon the void elixir was in the streets. the elixir did catch the attention of the dangerous rich people of the city, who were afraid of it, if the masses grew too aware the gross rich would lose their power. they tried to take us out, when we entered our apartment it exploded, we survived but my boyfriend was on a ledge of the firey ruin, holding onto my hand as i dangled in the air. the dream ended with him yelling at me to not let go no matter what.
